Anthropometric Characterisation Of Manual Workers In The Food Manufacturing Industry In Nigeria

Manual lifting is a necessary job duty that frequently associated with occupational damage. The main goal ofstrategies to lower the risk of injuries make sure workers are physically capable performing essential jobduties safely. aim this study was investigate anthropometric characteristics manual liftingactivities. Three hundred and eighty-four (384) subjects comprising 337 males 47 females from three (3) foodmanufacturing companies participated in survey. Measurement body segments done using anthropometer,vernier caliper weighing scale analysed statistical analysis measures dispersion 2 tail t-test at 5% significance level find relationship between male female population. results indicated there no significant difference Wrist-to- Foot Knee-Joint-to-Leg-Wrist.
